Bimbo Akintola Reveals Why She Remains Unmarried at 54
Renowned Nollywood actress, Bimbo Akintola, has disclosed the reason for her choice not to seek a new romantic partner.
In a recent interview with actor Emmanuel Ehumadu, year-old Bimbo Akintola revealed that she has not remarried because the love of her life passed away.
“Are you married? “No”, she said when Ehumadu asked about her marital status.
Quizzed on the reason she is yet to be married, the actress stated: “He died…I don’t talk about it but he died. Do you know how long it took me to find him, a very long time but he is gone.
“I don’t believe that you get married for marriage’s sake. If you are not going to be truthful to your vows, then why are you doing it? The person wey me passform does forever for don die. He’s gone. I am not saying that you can’t have two or three loves in your lifetime but do you know how long it took me to find that one that I knew I could stay with.”
