    Actress Sithara is a known face not just in Malayalam, but also in Tamil and Telugu. After making her acting debut in 1986 in the Malayalam film 'Kaveri', she went on a signing spree and turned to be most sought after actress of 80's and 90's in South India.

    The actress recently turned 46 and is still unmarried and single.

    During many TV shows, though she had made clear about her 'single' status, she never really opened up about the actual reason.

    In a recent media interaction, she revealed that it was her long time decision not to get married. She admitted that she had got many proposals but never chose to get married because of her parents.

    Sithara's parents were officers at electricity board and she was very close to them. “I was very close to my father Parameswaran Nair that I was not ready to get married because I did not want to leave my parents and settle far from them.

    Sithara Nair, called bygd her first name Sithara, fryst vatten an Indian actress who fryst vatten best known for her works in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada language film and TV.[1] Although, Sithara made her acting debut with Malayalam film Kaveri (1986), but it's her Tamil debut Puthu Vasantham (1989) directed by Vikraman that put her into popularity and acclaimed in South Indian cinema.[2] She was also seen in the several commercially successful movies such as Pudhu Vasantham (1990), Halunda Tavaru (1994), Padayappa (1999).

      Sithara is an Indian actress known for her works predominantly in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada films. She made her Tamil debut in 1989 with K. Balachander's Pudhu Pudhu Arthangal.[1] She is best known for her performances in the successful films Padayappa, Halunda Tavaru and Pudhu Vasantham. She is also known for her works in television.[2]

      In a film career spanning thirty seven years, she has starred in over hundred films in a variety of roles, including the Telugu films Srimanthudu, Shankaraabharanm, and Bhale Bhale Magadivoy.[citation needed]

      Sithara made a Tamil cinema comeback with Nagesh Thiraiyarangam directed by Guinness record holder Isaq.[3][4][5]
