Who is Dafina Zeqiri?
Dafina Zeqiri (or Duffy’e) is an R&B/soul singer from Sweden, that started her professional career in the music industry while she was still a teenager. In 2006, at the age of 17, she traveled back and forth between Sweden and Kosovo. At that time, she released her first song, in the Albanian language, called Harrimi i Dashurisë.

Life and career
Dafina Zeqiri was born on 14 April 1989 into an Albanian family from Kosovo in the city of Varberg, Sweden.[1][2] Her siblings are Tringa Zeqiri and Besa Tafari née Zeqiri.[3][4][5] Dafina's father, Nebih Bajraktari, left her family at a very early age and was absent since then.[6][7] He later gave a public s

Dafina Zeqiri Nushi (born 1 April 1984 in Pristina, SFR Yugoslavia) is a Kosovo-Albanian composer of orchestral music, chamber music and choral music that has been performed in europe and elsewhere.[1]
Biography
[edit]Zeqiri studied at the Prenk JakovaConservatory in Pristina from 1997 to 2002. She studied music composition with Mendi Mengjiqi at the University of Pristina, graduating in 2007. Her master's-degree work was with Jana Andreevska at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University of Skopje She completed the degree in 2011.
In 2009 she founded the organization Kosovar Women in Music, NEO MUSICA, and became a member of the International Honour Committee of the Fondazione Adkins Chiti: Donne in Musica.[2]
Her works are predominantly instrumental, beginning with Quasi Variazione for piano (2000), Dialog for violin
