Yaman Okur was one of Madonna&#;s dancers from the Sticky & Sweet Tour (and my personal fave dancer rom that tour! -IB) and recently gave an interview for Dance Track Magazine. If you have trouble remembering him, check your Sticky & Sweet DVDs and check him out especially during &#;Heartbeat&#; &#; it is choreographed by Yaman!
Yamson said he is inspired by animals and a lot of life under the sea. He said, “I’m also inspired by B-Boy Remind and by William Forsythe, who is a contemporary choreographer.” Yamson has won the Battle Of The Year Championship with his crew “WANTED” and gives workshops all over the world. If you caught him when he touched down in the US on Madonna’s Sticky and Sweet Tour, in addition to watching his smooth dance style you were also witnessing some of his choreography on stage as well.
