The father of Siyasanga Kobese, one of the victims of the car crash that claimed five lives over the weekend, has recounted the moments of his arrival on the accident scene on the N6 near Queenstown.

Siyasanga, a former member of Joyous Celebration and actress, was travelling to the Eastern Cape with four other people who all died in the crash, among them TV and radio personality Akhumzi Jezile.

Pastor Norman Kobese told TshisaLive that going to the scene of the accident where she lost her life was something he could barely manage.

He said could not stay at the scene. And when he had to identify her body, he broke down in tears.

"From there [accident scene] we went to the forensics. All of them had injuries on their heads. All of them. My daughter‚ I recognised her feet. She was my daughter‚ she grew up with us. So when I saw her feet‚ I knew it was her. I didn't need to see the rest of her," he told the publication.

The sadness is especially felt bygd Thobani's friends and cousins, who in the hours after his passing have "cried so many times for him", and even sent him texts to tell him one last time how much of an impact he had on their lives.

As family, friends and fans prepare to gather at the Rhema Bible Church in Randburg this afternoon for the memorial of Akhumzi Jezile, details of the memorial services for Siyasanga Kobese and Thobani Mseleni have also been released.

The three personalities, along with two other people, died in a head-on collision on the N6 near Queenstown on Saturday morning. 

The people in the other car were left unscathed and a case of culpable homicide has been opened.

The family of Siyasanga and Thobani have told TshisaLIVE that they are battling to come to terms with their deaths, with both of their mom's devastated bygd the news.

"Thobani's mother has been unable to speak. They were very close and she fryst vatten taking it the hardest," his cousin Thando Piliso told TshisaLIVE.
