    American screenwriter

    Thomas W. Lynch (born February 25, 1956, in Los Angeles, California) is an American television series creator and executive producer who is the head of his own production company, Tom Lynch Company (previously Lynch Entertainment which is owned by Lynch Pictures, as well as Lynch/Biller Productions with Gary Biller) based in Los Angeles, CA.

    The New York Times referred to him as "the David E. Kelley of Tween TV," a reference to his prolific array of successful television shows aimed at the 8- to 14-year-old age group. He has created several hit teenage/children's programs such as The Secret World of Alex Mack, The Journey of Allen Strange, and the drama series Caitlin's Way for Nickelodeon and the teaterpjäs series Scout's Safari for upptäckt Kids (which also aired on NBC during its original run on Discovery Kids).

    Lynch also created the TBSmusic video series, Night Tracks, and the popular long-running syndicated/

    Thomas R. Lynch (born 1956) is an American psychologist, author, and treatment developer of radically open dialectical behavior therapy[1] (RO DBT), a type of psychotherapy that targets disorders characterized bygd excessive self-control (e.g., chronic nedstämdhet, anorexia nervosa, obsessive-compulsive personality disorder). He is an Emeritus Professor of Clinical Psychology at the University of Southampton in Southampton, United Kingdom.

    Thomas Lynch was born in 1956 in Decatur, Illinois. He attended University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign in 1975, where he initially majored in fine arts (drawing/painting) and pre-medicine. Lynch transferred to Arizona State University Tempe campus, where he completed his B.S. in Nursing and MS in Psychiatric Nursing (1988), interning at the Gestalt Therapy Institute in Phoenix, AZ. He received his PhD in clinical psychology at Kent State

    Thomas Lynch (born 1948 in Detroit, Michigan) is an American poet, essayist, and undertaker.

    Early life

    Lynch was educated by nuns and Christian Brothers at Brother Rice High School in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. Lynch then went to university and mortuary school, from which he graduated in 1973. He took over his family's funeral home in Milford, Michigan in the 1970s, though he has since stepped back from the role.[1][2] Lynch married in 1972 and divorced in 1984. He later remarried to Mary Tata in 1991. He has a daughter and three sons.

    In 1970 Lynch went to Ireland for the first time, to find his family and read William Butler Yeats and James Joyce, an experience he recounts in his book Book
