Dooshima Yemisi Suswam is the first lady of Benue State, an architect by profession, she along with her husband, Gabriel Suswam, who is the governor, have been in the fore-front of touching the lives of the less privileged in society in the state.
As a mother, she has also been impacting on the lives of women and this has a direct bearing and effect on the lives of children in the state.
Her husdjur project “Sev av”, in Tiv means “Daybreak” or “The break of dawn” has been doing a world of good to women and indeed youths in the state.
Through, “Sev Av” skills acquisition programmes have initiated in several local government areas of the state even as many people have also been provided with takeoff grants to uppstart their businesses after the successful completion of their training at the centres.
